Damage Caused By Bird Droppings/Get rid of pigeons
The life expectancy of a rooftop for commercial, can be cut in half by the continuous application of bird droppings. The accumulation of bird droppings can cost you thousands of dollars in repairs or an entire roof replacement. Bird droppings are naturally acidic and bird droppings actually eat away at most substrates, especially tar-based roofing materials. When bird droppings are allowed to accumulate on rooftops, they eat into the material and eventually cause leaks.
Bird Nest/ Water Damage/ How to keep birds away!
Pigeon nests are often built in rain gutters, drains and corners of roofs where drains are located. Pest control for commercial properties and warehouses is necessary when they experience water damage every year. There are rooftops that even collapsed when drainage systems are blocked and standing water is allowed to accumulate.
Bird Droppings/ Collapsing Ceilings/ Get rid of pigeons
Pigeons enter attics of apartments, warehouses, restaurants and other commercial buildings through openings that are not sealed off properly. In most scenarios the pigeons will set up residence in these protected areas and start to build nests, all the time discarding bird droppings. Over time the weight of the droppings becomes so great that the actual ceiling can collapse.
Fires Started by Bird Nests/ How to keep birds away!
Nesting materials such as straw, twigs and dried droppings are usually very flammable due to their dry nature. When birds build their nests inside fire place ducts, electric signs or other areas where the nesting materials may be introduced to fire, there is a great risk of property damage. Sign companies that service electric signs blame bird nests for most of their sign fires.
Bird Nests Blocked Ventilation System/ Get rid of pigeons
Bird nests built in chimneys and ventilation systems can not only spread diseases through the system, but can actually block airflow which can have horrible consequences. Any bird’s nest blocking an outside air intake, may cause carbon monoxide levels to rise in the facility and create a serious health hazard to humans.
Diseases carried by pigeons
- Pigeons carry mycotic, (airborne) diseases.
- They carry bacterial and protozoan diseases.
- They carry various worms which live in their feces.
- They have fleas and mites which carry diseases also
- Pigeons walk in their own feces and can spread bacteria to other sites they land on.
Mycotic Diseases such as: Aspergillosis, Cryptococcosis, and Histoplasmosis
Bascertial Diseases such as: Listeriosis, Pasteurella multicida, Salmonellosis, Gastoenteritis, and Yersiniosis
Protozoan Diseases such as: Toxoplasmosis and Chlamydiosis
Parasitic Diseases such as: Parasitic worms and Schistosomiasis
Our Control Products
Bird Gel
A sticky substance applied to your structure can get you results promptly! Repellents keep birds off their normal roosting areas. Bird repellents are non-toxic, non-lethal, and harmless to metal structures, sealed masonry and ornamental metals, people, pets and children. Bird repellents can protect your property from messy bird deposits for up to a full year or longer with one thorough application. Our bird-repellent works in any weather, indoors or outdoors, literally anywhere: signage, ledges, beams, loading docks, roof edges, and parking lots, etc.
Bird Spikes
They can be very effective when used as intended. Birds instinctively fly to roof ledges, windowsills, building projections, signs, statues, trusses and beams but are unable to land due to the bird spike. Bird spike is not the one fix that solves all bird problems. Bird spikes are tough-long-lasting and provide decades of maintenance-free protection for your property. Bird spikes can be somewhat transparent, flexible and mounts easily on flat, curved or irregular surfaces – whether wood, metal or masonry.
Bird Slope
An anti-perching, anti-roosting, deterrent that is effective against all types of birds. Each section of bird slope is 4 feet long, 7 inches wide. The slope is made of UV protected outdoor grade PVC and can be glued down to most surfaces.
Bird Pin and Wire Post
Bird wire is one of the first ledge products used for bird control. It is often specified for historical restoration projects, as it is specified by the Landmarks Preservation Committee. It is used for pigeons and larger birds in low and medium pressure situations. Spring tension wire is installed between posts to create an unstable landing surface.
Bird Spider (Daddy Long Legs)
This product interferes with birds trying to land. It works on pigeons and larger birds in low and medium pressure situations. It can be effectively used in many situations and in many locations such as: air conditioning and HVAC units, lamp posts, rooftops, streetlights, etc.
Bird Trapping (Pigeons)
The success of a trapping program relies on several factors: scheduled trap maintenance, trap design, technician experience, and proper trap placement. A good trapping program offers a comfortable and attractive environment that will lure them into the trap. Sometimes trapping is done prior to the installation of other control products. Problem birds can be removed from a site by trapping to eliminate some of the pressure that they might exert on a deterrent system installed later. Trapping is an effective flock reduction tool because it reduces the overall number of breeding pairs.
Batting (Avitrol)
Avitrol is a poison bait with flock-alarming properties used for the control of feral pigeons in such a way that a part of the flock may react and frighten the rest of the flock away. Birds that react and alarm a flock have usually consumed a lethal dose.
Bird Waste
Bird droppings are acidic and can eat through paint, roofing materials, and even some metal surfaces. Bird droppings, nesting materials, and parasites like bird mites can also cause serious threats to health and property.
Health Risks
Bird droppings can expose humans to more than 60 dangerous diseases. Salmonella, Histoplasmosis, Meningitis, and Encephalitis, all of which have been associated with bird droppings.

Maintenance Packages
Pest Control
Monthly
starting at
This service is primarily for commercial accounts (restaurants, coffee shops, donut shops, etc.) that require a monthly maintenance. Some residential customers will go monthly based on their tolerance threshold, or they are from the South and they are just used to a monthly service frequency.
Bi-Monthly
starting at
This is primarily for residential customers and the most common service package that we recommend to our residential customers. The reason that we prefer the bi-monthly service is because the products that we use typically have a residual effect that lasts between 45-60 days and that the customer will be due for their next regularly scheduled treatment normally within the next 1-2 weeks.
Quarterly
starting at
This is for customer’s who do not mind seeing the occasional spider or ant and have a higher tolerance threshold. Since these customers are serviced every 90 days, there is roughly a 30-day period where they will not have any “active” product or residual at their home since the products used have become less effective or worn-off.
